A new Italian restaurant and wine bar has claimed a prime corner in downtown Rochester after Rojo Mexican Bistro closed following a summer salmonella scare.

Birmingham-based Ron and Roman is handling the architecture of the new restaurant, with construction by BJ Construction of Chesterfield.
